Harlem Nights Forever: Sandi & Ked

Sandi and Ked’s Engagement Session at the Denson Speakeasy in Washington, DC was one I’ll never forget! Their two-hour Harlem Renaissance-themed engagement session brought back memories from one of my favorite movies, Harlem Nights. “You shot me in my pinky toe!” Shoutout to those who can quote lines from that movie!

During our planning call, we discussed several locations in the Washington, DC area that would be ideal for this themed engagement session. After some time we settled on the Denson Speakeasy. This hidden gem in NW DC offers an art deco-bar specializing in old-school drinks. Oh, and the Seersucker After Dark cocktail is a beautiful mixture of white rum, spices and orange bitters. Exquisite!

Sandi and Ked embody the terms: fun-loving, adventurous and artistic. Their infectious love is everything that I wish for when creating authentic imagery for couples. I wish for laughter, joy, and easy-going stylish couples with big hearts. This is Sandi and Ked to a T!
