The POWER of a PORTRAIT
My creative journey didn't begin with a camera in hand. It actually started with the cello. And went on to include the piano, saxophone, guitar, and many a sheet of music. Although I thought I'd pursue a career in music, life had other plans.
It was the summer of 2014 and I was on a routine visit to see my parents. As I looked at the cluster of family portraits in their living room, as I had a million times before, something clicked.
The stories I heard,
the love I experienced,
and the legacy of the individuals in those photos
suddenly became crystal clear.
There was power in those images.
And I would never be the same.
The power of legacy and love is why I do what I do.
And here’s how I aim to do it for you:
A unique CONNECTION
For the last seven years, I've studied lighting and compositional techniques. And I know every variant imaginable to deliver a beautiful photo. But these techniques mean absolutely nothing if they don't capture YOUR unique wedding day. This is why I start by getting to know you, your story, and the things that make you unique and special. And I approach your day with those things in mind. Then, using my artistic eye and creativity, I curate something unique and timeless— just for you!

A focus on what MATTERS
Your focus should be on spending the day with your loved ones who came to celebrate you. So, my priority is making sure you do! While other photographers bring their ego into your day or focus solely on their vision, I focus on you, your friends and family, and your experience. I won't interrupt or awkwardly pose moments to get the perfect photo. Instead, I capture the laughter, joy, and genuine moments as they happen. And remain respectful of your day.
