Chuck & Alana’s Washington National Arboretum Engagement Session

How many times have you come across a wedding blog that says, “Take your pictures where your heart’s at?”

For Chuck and Alana, their engagement was a moment they wanted to live to the fullest. They had a fun portion of their engagement session at Howard University, but they also wanted an elegant piece done with a graceful touch too so they chose the Washington, DC National Arboretum.

The mesmerizing expanse of greenery is what makes this place perfect for pictures! Even better when the autumn leaves are ‘poppin!’ It’s the colors for me!!! Wearing an orange-brown off-the-shoulder dress, Alana stood out in the green and yellow field. Her dress complimented her surroundings. Amongst the greenery, she was a blossoming flower that shined bright like a rare beauty.

And Chuck, talk about understanding the assignment! Chuck looked dapper in his three-piece suit, and with Alana by his side, they looked like a power couple who only had eyes for each other!

The Corinthian columns sitting on a knoll in the Ellipse Meadow is a sight that makes every person fall in love with the structure. The ancient vibe of this historical site spell bounds a person, which is what we believe happened with Alana and Chuck.

I’m beyond excited for these two lovebirds and their 2022 wedding!
